\u201cLokale Wertsch\u00f6pfung ist uns wichtig\u201c<\/h2>\n<\/div>\n

Das Practical Robotics Institute Austria (PRIA) hat es sich zum Ziel gesetzt, Kinder und Jugendliche mit Robotik f\u00fcr Technik und Naturwissenschaft zu begeistern. Im Vordergrund steht dabei das \u201eMit- und Selbstmachen\u201c in Robotik-Workshops an Schulen und bei Wettbewerben, wie der ECER \u2013 European Conference on Educational Robotics. Auf diese Weise lernen Kinder und Jugendliche spielerisch gleich mehrere technische Disziplinen kennen, von der Mechanik \u00fcber die Elektronik bis hin zur Sensorik und Programmierung. Parallel forscht das PRIA auch in den Bereichen Industrie 4.0 und flexible industrielle Robotik, um Produktionen effizienter zu machen und damit die lokale Wertsch\u00f6pfung in Europa halten zu k\u00f6nnen.<\/p>\n

Robotik-Controller wird bei TELE gefertigt<\/h3>\n

Die Forschung von PRIA hat mittlerweile auch ein fertiges Produkt hervorgebracht, das nun bei TELE Haase am Standort Wien 23 gefertigt wurde. \u201eDer Robotik-Controller Hedgehog offeriert eine web-based IDE (Integrated Development Environment), die keine zus\u00e4tzliche Software ben\u00f6tigt, sondern einfach via Webbrowser programmiert werden kann. Auf diese Weise lassen sich auch angeschlossene Motoren und Sensoren direkt steuern, sodass Robotik-Anwendungen schnell und einfach getestet werden k\u00f6nnen. Der Hedgehog-Robotik-Controller l\u00e4sst sich einfach \u00fcber einen Webbrowser programmieren. Lokale Produktion erleichtert die Kommunikation<\/h3>\n

2019 begab sich PRIA auf die Suche nach einem:r Produktionspartner:in f\u00fcr die Platinen des Hedgehog und wurde schnell bei TELE f\u00fcndig. \u201cWir haben TELE ja schon aus den anderen Projekten gekannt und uns ist lokale Wertsch\u00f6pfung wichtig\u201c, begr\u00fcndet Wilfried Lepuschitz die Entscheidung. \u201eWenn es ein Problem gibt, kann man einfach hinfahren oder anrufen und das Problem auf Augenh\u00f6he kl\u00e4ren\u201c, so Lepuschitz weiter. Insgesamt 96 St\u00fcck des Hedgehog wurden bei TELE gefertigt. \u201eObwohl ein paar Abst\u00e4nde auf der Platine nicht den vorgegebenen Standardma\u00dfen entsprochen haben, weil uns nicht alle Anforderungen der Serienproduktion bekannt waren, hat das TELE trotzdem f\u00fcr uns unkompliziert umgesetzt\u201c, freut sich Daniel Frank. Der Hedgehog verkauft sich inzwischen bereits erfolgreich und ist in mehreren Forschungs- und Bildungsprojekten im Einsatz. Indirekt hat er sogar schon den Sprung nach Asien geschafft: So haben chinesische Robotiker vor kurzem auf Basis der Hedgehog-Open-Source-Hardware eigene Controller Wissen aus der Praxis bringt Forschung voran<\/h3>\n

PRIA arbeitet auch bei zwei seiner Forschungs-Projekte \u2013 KnowDrift und COmBINE \u2013 mit TELE zusammen. \u201eWir haben TELE 2016 im Rahmen von \u201aIndustry meets Makers\u2018 kennengelernt und tauschen uns seitdem \u00fcber die Abl\u00e4ufe in der lokalen Produktion am Standort Wien aus. Cloud-Manufacturing f\u00fcr verteilte Produktion<\/h3>\n

Seit 2018 ist TELE auch Partnerin im PRIA-Projekt COmBine. COmBINE entwickelt ein Cloud-Manufacturing-System auf Basis k\u00fcnstlicher Intelligenz, mit dem es m\u00f6glich wird, industrielle Produktionsauftr\u00e4ge auf die Fertigungskapazit\u00e4ten verschiedener Unternehmen zu verteilen. TELE steht dem Institut als Referenzunternehmen f\u00fcr EMS (Electronic Manufacturing Services) zur Verf\u00fcgung. Im laufenden Austausch kann PRIA so herausfinden, wie Cloud-Manufacturing-Prozesse k\u00fcnftig praktisch ablaufen k\u00f6nnen. \u201eDerzeit befindet sich COmBINE schon in der Umsetzungsphase, es wird kr\u00e4ftig programmiert, damit in absehbarer Zeit ein Demonstrator entsteht, aus dem man dann ein Produkt entwickeln kann\u201c, freut sich Lepuschitz. Eine Win-Win-Situation: Denn, bei TELE ist man schon sehr gespannt auf die wissenschaftlichen Ergebnisse und denkt bereits intensiv \u00fcber die praktische Umsetzung dieser Cloud-Manufacturing-Plattform nach.<\/p>\n
