From June 21-24, the 3rd edition of the 4-day Industry Meets Makers Future Tech Bootcamp took place and TELE, together with Microtronics, was there with the exciting briefing “Deep Tech Control Cabinet”. The goal was to get Makers, freelance developers, StartUps, students and SMEs involved in this topic to work together on revolutionary concepts right away during the bootcamp. Afterwards, the first steps from concept to action were already defined.<\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

The Bootcamp 2021 project team<\/h3>\n

Martin Buber from Microtronics and Peter Dollfuss from Tele Haase welcomed Daniel Amesberger from Amescon, Marcus Kednig from FH Brugenland, Joe Kranawetter from Fr\u00fchauf and Gabriel Danieli from Gemini to their Bootcamp 2021 Challenge. After a short period of getting to know each other, the new team plunged into an exciting day with several sessions around the question “What can the control cabinet of the future be”. Brainstorming and reflection led to many ideas and first suggestions.
On the second day, concrete products were discussed and looked at from the perspective of potential customers. The third day really got the developers’ heads spinning. Here, the first functional details for the control cabinet of the future were discussed. The Future Tech Bootcamp team around TELE Haase then worked out two of the in-depth ideas in detail and distributed the upcoming tasks to the project partners.<\/p>\n

 <\/p>\n

Output and outcome<\/h3>\n

One thing quickly became clear during the course of the event. The topic “control cabinet of the future” is very broad, and offers endless possibilities of new visions and business models. The number of stakeholders that need to be involved here is also large. One particularly exciting topic is the interaction between energy suppliers and customers. Here, it makes sense to develop a model right at the beginning that depicts various scenarios of interaction. From these initial results, the project participants derived the following action steps:<\/p>\n

1. the FH Burgenland, Tele Haase and Microtronics network for future cooperation.
2. first data are recorded and compared
3. a definition of the physical interfaces and program interfaces follows.<\/p>\n

Subsequently, the participants will further develop the resulting test scenario and implement a first prototype.
