NA003 receives additional certification to the VDE-AR-N 4110 for higher-level uncoupling protection
At at glance
The grid and system protection NA003 from TELE has already been longer certified for the VDE-AR-N 4110: 2018-11 – “Technical Connection Rules for Medium-Voltage” (TAR medium voltage). Thus, the device can be used in medium voltage networks up to 60kV, as they occur, for example, in the context of combined heat and power plants (CHPU). Now, TELE has received an additional certification, which makes it possible to use the NA003 as a higher-level uncoupling protection, if no Q-U protection is required, or this requirement is technically solved otherwise.
New functions for NA003
The following functions are now possible:
- Protection when connected to the busbar of a substation.
- The protection of a generating plant in the grid connection point when connected to the busbar.
- A higher-level uncoupling protection.
- The protection of a generating plant directly in the medium-voltage network.
The fulfillment of the requirements of VDE-AR-N 4110: 2018-11 at TELE is ensured by certified testing institutes.
New CEI 0-21 will be implemented on time
By the end of 2019, the new Italian CEI 0-21 – the technical reference rule about the connection of active or passive users to the low voltage networks of distributors of electricity – must be implemented. TELE is already in the implementation phase and can realize the CEI 0-21 re-certification on time.
Applications for NA003
Low- and medium voltage systems for:
- power generation, e.g.
- wind power
- energy distribution
- power supply
