Train washing system
- Other applications
- The pressure applied by the cleaning brush in a train washing system should remain as constant as possible to ensure optimal cleaning.
- When the pressure changes, the power drawn by the brush motor also changes.
The use of a power measuring transducer forwards the power consumption of the brush motor to the PLC over a standard signal (4–20 mA), and the PLC then adjusts the position of the brush accordingly with an actuator.
- - Monitoring of the functioning of the system and the cleaning quality
- Indirect measurement outside of the wet area
- Very short reaction time
