- LED navigation lights on taller buildings and towers in the vicinity of airports should be monitored. A contact should be tripped when the power draw falls below the set power draw for a given lamp wattage. Different power draws from 10 mA to 5 A are needed.
- Different thresholds can be set in the current monitoring relay depending on the wattage of the lamps. Both in the ampere range and in the milliampere range.
